"You Belong with Me" is a country pop song performed by American recording artist Taylor Swift. The song was co-written by Swift and Liz Rose and produced by Nathan Chapman with Swift's aid. It was released on April 18, 2009, by Big Machine Records as the third single from Swift's second studio album, Fearless (2008). Swift was inspired to write "You Belong with Me" after overhearing a male friend of hers arguing with his girlfriend through a phone call; she continued to develop a story line afterward. The song contains many pop music elements and its lyrics havelove interest.

Critical reception for "You Belong with Me" was middling to positive. The song won Favorite song at 2010 Kids' Choice Awards,and received nominations for the Grammy Awards for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. "You Belong with Me" enjoyed commercial success as well; it became a top ten hit in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States. In the United States, the song became Swift's second best-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 to date and Swift's third best-selling single. It managed to gain the largest crossover radio audience since Faith Hill's "Breathe" did in 2000. The single was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The song's accompanying music video was directed by Roman White. The video featured Swift portraying two characters, a nerd (the protagonist and narrator) and a popular girl (the antagonist and girlfriend), while American actor Lucas Till portrayed the male lead. The video's plot centers on the protagonist secretively loving the male lead, although he has a girlfriend. The video won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, but during Swift's acceptance speech, rapper Kanye West interrupted, protesting in support of Beyoncé Knowles. The incident caused a reaction in the media, with most people coming to Swift's defense. The song was performed live at numerous venues, including the 2009–10 Fearless Tour, where it was the opening number. It was covered by various artists, including Butch Walker and Selena Gomez & the Scene, and parodied by "Weird Al" Yankovic.

Papaya salad (Som tum)

Ingredients

• 2 cups shredded green papaya
• 1/2 cup shredded carrot
• 1/2 cup sting bean (cut into 1'long)
• 2 tablespoons fish sauce
• 1 1/2 tablespoons palm sugar
• 3 tablespoons lime juice
• 1/2 cup tomato (wedged)
• 1/3 cup dried shrimps
• 1/4 cup peanuts
• 10 green chilies

• 5 cloves fresh garlic

Preparations

 

1. Use motar and prestle to crush the chilli and garlic, add shrimps, continue crushing.

2. Add sugar, continue beating with the prestle, then add the papaya, carrot, sting bean, fish sauce, lime juice, tomato, and peanuts. Continue beating until all ingredients mixed well.

3. Finally, season with sugar, fish sauce, or lime. The original taste this dish should be the balance taste between sweet, (pepper) hot, salty, and sour.

4. Serve with vegetables (e.g. cabbage, string bean, napa, etc.). Thai people love to eat Sticky Rice with Papaya Salad. In this case, sticky rice can be served together with finished Papaya Salad.

The Hare and The Tortoise 

              One day in a big forest, a hare ridiculed a tortoise that he had the short legs and slow pace.

When the tortoise heard that ridiculous words, he laughed and replied “I will beat you in a race, though you can run as fast as the wind.”

The Hare believed in his speed and thought that it was simple impossible, so he assented to the proposal.

They agreed that the fox should choose the course and fix the destination.  

On the day appointed for the race the hare and the tortoise started together at the course which the fox chose.

The tortoise never stopped for a moment.

He went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the destination.

The hare ran faster than the tortoise, but when he nearly reached the end of the course he lay down carelessly by the wayside and fell fast asleep.

At last the hare awaked up and ran as fast as he could.

When he reached the goal he saw the tortoise was comfortably dozing after his effort. 

The tortoise had been the winner already.

               I have a lovely dog.His name is Ponglang Nickname is Majee ,He has white fur and four small paws. I love his nose best, because his ears are small snd cute. He always lies near my lap to sleep. He is friendly and quiet. I never frighten him.I feed my dog every day and give him clean water. Usually, I wash his fur every day and he enjoys it very much. I love my dog very much. I think he is my good friend. I will look after him until the end.

Michelle Phan was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Vietnamese parents.
